Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on the 21st of September of 1983 in Worthington, Ohio is an American actress. She is famous for her roles as Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills and Kim Mills on ABC's Lost TV show. Maggie Grace was born in Worthington in Ohio. She was kicked out of school when her parents divorced to go to Los Angeles to live with her mother. They were struggling to make ends meet and was offered her first part in the acting world as Rachel's Room's main character. In 2002, she was nominated for a Young Artist Award with her part as the 15-year-old murder victim Martha Moxley. Grace Rutherford, the character in Lost between 2004 and 2005, was selected for a Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace quit the show in 2005 to focus on an even more prominent role in movies, and had a role in the film Taken alongside Tom Welling as Kim Mills in the film Taken. Grace has been in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club and in 2007 and in Taken alongside Liam Neeson in 2008 as Kim Mills. The role was reprised in Taken 2 (2013) and Taken 3 (2015). In addition, she played Alice as Alice in Malice in Wonderland which is a modern version that Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace was Shannon on the final episode and two other episodes. She also was a guest in the sixth season of Californication. The role she plays is Faith as a girl who serves as a model for celebrities and attracts the attention from Hank Moody (David Duchovny). She's a Gyllenhaal. daughters of Stephen Gyllenhaal (director) and Naomi Achs (producer), she is a bit older that Jake Gyllenhaal. She began her career as a teenager with small parts in a few of the films of her father and starred together with her brother in famous cult classic Donnie Darko (2001). Her next roles were in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind in 2002, as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal was praised by critics for her performances as the lead in the erotic romance comedy drama Secretary (2002) as well as the drama Sherrybaby (2006) both of which brought her the Golden Globe Award nomination. The Dark Knight, which was released in 2008, following several highly successful films including World Trade Center (2006), brought Gyllenhaal greater fame. The film was nominated to win an Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress for her performance on the film Crazy Heart, (2009). Some of her other parts include acting as a Secret Service agent for Secret Service in White House Down 2013, as a singer for Secret Service in White House Down 2013, as a singer in Frank 2014 and also in The Kindergarten Teacher 2018, where she portrays the title character. Gyllenhaal debuted as a director and writer in 2021 with her drama about psychological issues The Lost Daughter. For this film she was awarded the Best Screenplay Award at the Venice International Film Festival and nominated for an Academy Award.
