Aisling Bea is among the richest and most well-known Comedian she was born on March 16 1984, in Kildare Ireland. The comedian has appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, better known as the stage name Aisling Bea (born on 16 March 1984) is an Irish writer, actress and stand-up comedian. Bea's professional career started in the year 2011 when she began her career as a comic following her appearance in a few part in Irish and British TV shows that began in 2009. In 2012, she started appearing on a variety of sketch and sitcoms. In 2012, after she received an award from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) and began to be featured often in various panel programs. Between 2016 and 2017, she was a team captain on 8 Out of 10 Cats and a regular contestant on the spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Parents include Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. She has a younger sister, Sinead. In 2012, she was awarded the So You think You're Funny Award for the second time. Bea's surname is in honour of her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh'Sullivan' was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. The father of Bea was Brian was a vet for horses who committed suicide aged three. However, she did not learn the cause of death until 13 years later. She adopted the stage name Bea as a tribute to her father and wrote an article for The Guardian in 2017 about the family's suicide experience. Bea was fostered by her sister Sinead by Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer as well as a former professional racer. The family was obsessed with race meetings as well as horses. As a young girl, Bea worked as an assistant tour guide at the Irish National Stud however she knew from a young stage that she was not attracted to the race industry as a career and instead was a performer.
