Singer and songwriter John Denver touched millions of people, and achieved superstar status through his pop-folk songs based on folk, with a lot of them being set in Colorado. He was born Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. in Roswell New Mexico, the singer-songwriter fell in affection with Colorado and then settled in Aspen.
