Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson - born Jacqueline Luesby to Chris Watson and Jacqueline Luesby, two British lawyers - was born the 8th of July, 1989 in Paris. They moved to Oxfordshire in the year she turned five where she attended the Dragon School. Emma had a dream to become a professional actor when she was just six. She was enrolled at Stagecoach Theatre Arts in Oxford, an acting school with part-time courses. As part of a school production and the stage of a Stagecoach Production, Emma was the lead at the age 10 and performed. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) was the movie version of J.K. Rowlings bestselling novel was filmed for very first time back in the year 1999. Emma was discovered by agents via their Oxford teacher. David Heyman told Emma along together with Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe after having eight consecutive auditions. The release of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) was Emma's cinematic screen debut. The movie broke all records for the opening weekend and sales, and it was the most-recorded 2001 movie. Reviewers have been highly lauding the film and the performances by the three principal young actors. The Daily Telegraph, a well-read British publication, has praised Emma for her exceptional performance. Emma's performance received nominations and was awarded five awards for the movie.
