Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family of musicians. She was raised listening to classical, old boleros and traditional romantic, ranchero and ballads of romance. Ana loves Tangos, opera and the various forms of dramatic performing. Her mother taught her how to sing, and she began intensifying her vocal instruction under Flavio Belcerra in the age of 16 when his name was known as a famous Mexican opera Tenor. The School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was part of numerous opera groups and chamber choirs. She sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the south of California. She has performed solo Latin American music for private functions and as a member Ensemble XXI in Redlands. as a music teacher and musician she has a passion for various community-based projects because of her passion and love for music. Ana has also been an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as well as an active member of Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is thankful for having the chance to share her love and love for the traditional Latin American songs with others as she hopes to spread the desire for younger generations in order to keep this tradition of music lively and alive.Viva Mexico!
